“The Quad Resort & Casino”… The new name is to take place by December 21, 2012. The hotel will have a full out reno, including the casino, exterior facade, retail/dining spaces, and the rooms of course (thank god).
The entire transformation is expected to be completed in spring 2013, which will be nearing when “The Linq” is expected to be opening as well. For those who are worried about the massive classic car collection, or the ‘dealertainers’ which were present in it’s former encarnation, both will still be present at “The Quad”.
The Quad is still expected to keep its ‘fun’ atmosphere for a younger crowd. The updates will keep the property competitive with all the happenings in Vegas, such as The Linq, and the new remodeling at the Flamingo.
We gotta ask – What do you think of the new name?

I will miss the “ole gal” ….plan on staying at location in the future, tho… love the location, and the (used to be) easy exit onto the strip..we’ll see how that goes in the future.
